Study Shows Health Effects Of Fast Food

A new study has opened yet again the health effects of fast food and junk food. The common sweets, deep fried and high sugar content meals are becoming more and more common in American households. According to researchers, children are becoming the new generation soon to be called the 'Fast food junkies' where an alarming amount of children are getting their intake of food without any nutritional value whatsoever.

Generally, individuals need on average, 2,200 daily calories, where individuals are receiving this through the form of empty calories. The excessive amount has given rise to concern of the increase risks involved of illnesses such as heart disease, cancer and stroke.

The study concludes that there needs to be a change in diet and social norms before any dramatic changes can be made.
