Although there has been hundreds of reports, court cases and protests about the health effects of fast food, it has never been such as concern today with the recent aim for toys to be removed from fast food joints. The understanding that toys given free in meals promotes and encourages young children to have bad eating habits. Recent reports have confirmed that more children under the age of 15 years will purchase or consume fast food meals for the additional toy you receive.

This has been highlighted recently in San Francisco as a major contributing factor to child obesity in the United States. For this reason, San Franciso hopes to be the first place where toys will be banned from fast food meals.
