Fast Food- A Danger

Fast food has occupied an important position in today's fast pace of life. It is not only cheap and fast, but also tastes good making it irresistible. With the increase in their consumption, the fast food health hazards are also increasing. Fast food and obesity are interlinked with each other. Fries, burgers, sandwiches, etc are loaded with huge amount of calories, intake of which, results in obesity.
Other than obesity, various health problems like cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, quick aging, has been on the rise. Research has shown that when consumed on a regular basis, fast food speeds up the aging process and shortens our lifespan .This is due to the presence of phosphates which are used as flavor enhancers and preservatives in many fast food restaurants.
Thus by eating proper diet and exercising, individuals can keep the fast food health issues at bay and lead a healthy and tension free life.
